It is with deepest regret and sorrow to report the line-of-duty death of Fire Fighter John Jacob Curry of IAFF Local 3574 - Volusia County, Florida. Brother Curry, 30, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 from a training accident. The visitation will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, 126 E. New York Avenue, DeLand, Florida 32724, (386) 734-4663. The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stetson Baptist Church, 1025 West Minnesota Avenue (on 15A), Deland, Florida 32724, (386) 734-1991.
